A huge thank you to the RHS for a splendid annual awards lunch in the beautifully decorated Lindley Hall on Thursday 26th February. The OSGB received two of the RHS Annual Awards for its Gold-medal display, which was sponsored by the Sultanate of Oman Ministry of Tourism, at RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2014.

The awards were accepted on the society's behalf by the display's designers Val Micklewright, Andre Roux and Sam Hurley who are already working on this year's exhibit entitled
British native orchids and their tropical relations.

The society received two awards for its Chelsea 2014 display. The Eric Young Orchid Trophy is awarded for the most meritorious group of orchids staged at any RHS show and the Holford Medal is awarded for the best exhibit staged by an amateur group at an RHS show.
